Ellyfe is a healthcare technology brand that aims to use wearable devices for monitoring real-time hydration levels among the older generation. What makes Ellyfe unique is the ability of these devices to function without sweat, thus reducing damage to fragile skin, reducing hospital risks, and aiding care workers.

The time is now.

Ellyfe aims to affect time- in the lives of its users, it is a constant companion ensuring the regular maintenance of fluid intake and steadying one's hydration levels. In the lives of healthcare workers, it is a trusted partner that provides timely help and data, making their job a lot simpler. Thus, time becomes a key element of its functionality which in turn prolongs the lives of the elderly and makes it more enjoyable.

Adding life to hours, not hours to life.

The hourglass is an icon encapsulating all the core values of Ellyfe in a flexible, multipurpose entity. It integrates time with the 'E' of Ellyfe, emphasizing how Ellyfe helps users enjoy their lives to the fullest and have a great time. It also has a texture similar to scribbled writing as it shows that the healthcare technology brand attempts to prioritize human experiences and not just attempt to make technological advancements based on research and data.

A visual language with a gentle touch.

Older generations tend to respond better to softer colours, smoother tones, and a conversational tone of voice rather than an eccentric, ambitious visual language. Considering the importance of reliability and a humanistic touch as seen in care homes, the colours and typeface were chosen such that they complement the icon and create a soulful ethos championing the human spirit.

When eras meet.

Working with a generation who grew up before modern technology took off is a unique challenge. Such generations have a great love for print, books, and physical interactions. This insight led to the development of assets that focused on interactive language, cheery illustrations, and an informative tone of voice to quench the curiosity and improve communication between users and care workers.

Ellyfe’s visual identity promotes a friendly, welcoming, and supportive interface where users are guided to a healthier life so that they can enjoy their time on this planet without the need for extensive medical care. For care workers, it presents an opportunity to keep track of a person's hydration levels and be able to provide more accurate service.
